For Art Basel week in early December, book storefront window cleaning by early November, schedule a deep clean 3–5 days before the fair, and add daily or every-other-day touch-ups during the week. Clean display windows, doors, signage glass and patio partitions, and plan around early-morning loading and street closures.
Window cleaning crews on the beach are fully booked the week before the fair. Lock in your deep clean and touch-up visits by early November. Tell your cleaner about new window displays, vinyl graphics going up, and any street or sidewalk closures near your store.
Do the deep clean after displays and vinyl are installed but before the crowds arrive. It should cover inside and outside glass, frames, door hardware, signage glass and patio partitions, and remove any installation fingerprints and adhesive.
Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue get record foot traffic that week. A quick outside squeegee and door-glass wipe every morning, before opening, keeps the storefront looking sharp in photos and on social media.
Once installations come down, book a final clean to remove adhesive, tape marks and fingerprints, then return to your normal weekly or bi-weekly storefront route .
